La FIFA acredita a Ripoll y De Prado entre las mejores clínicas del mundo

La Fedération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) ha otorgado el título de Excelencia al Servicio de Traumatología y Cirugía Ortopédica  Ripoll y De Prado con sedes en el sureste español y Madrid. Se convierte así en Centro Médico de Excelencia FIFA de los que solo hay 22 en el mundo, 12 de ellos en Europa. Esta homologación es el máximo reconocimiento a nivel mundial que puede obtener una institución médica deportiva. 

La FIFA declara su compromiso con la salud de los jugadores en la prevención y mejora del tratamiento de las lesiones. Con el fin de conseguir estos objetivos, el máximo organismo del fútbol mundial declara que “reconocerá y establecerá Clínicas que tengan una experiencia médica demostrada y un compromiso con el fútbol, concediendo a algunas de ellas el grado de Excelencia por reunir el máximo nivel técnico necesario para la asistencia de lesiones deportivas”. La FIFA reserva la clasificación de Centro Médico de Excelencia a las que considera las mejores a nivel mundial en el tratamiento de las lesiones del fútbol. 

El cumplimiento de estos objetivos, sometido a un riguroso análisis, ha llevado a las Clínicas Ripoll y De Prado a conseguir el reconocimiento al más alto nivel y por el que pasan a llamarse ahora Centro Médico de Excelencia FIFA Ripoll y De Prado Sport Clinic.   

La candidatura de los doctores Pedro Luis Ripoll y Mariano De Prado ante la FIFA, que empezó a prepararse hace más de dos años, ha sido avalada por el Gobierno de España, con el apoyo explícito del ministro de Educación y Deporte, José Ignacio Wert, así como del presidente del Consejo Superior de Deportes, Miguel Cardenal; la Real Federación Española de Fútbol, con Ángel María Villar a la cabeza; el presidente de la Comunidad Autónoma de Murcia, Ramón Luis Valcárcel; alcalde de Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara; los presidentes de los clubes de fútbol Elche, Almería y Hércules; deportistas y entrenadores como los ex seleccionadores nacionales José Antonio Camacho y Javier Clemente;  y representantes de la comunidad científicas de España e Hispanoamérica.  

Las Clínicas Ripoll y De Prado son centros reconocidos a nivel internacional como referente en el tratamiento de las lesiones deportivas. Los doctores Pedro Luis Ripoll y Mariano De Prado dirigen en la actualidad uno de los mejores equipos en el tratamiento de lesiones traumatológicas y logran para nuestro país uno de los máximos reconocimientos mundiales de la medicina. 

La FIFA reconoce con esta homologación que la mejor Liga del mundo tiene a los mejores médicos del mundo y ponen sus conocimientos al servicio de la sociedad y ayudan a potenciar la gran imagen de la medicina de nuestro país. 

Los 40 profesionales que integran el equipo Ripoll y De Prado han intervenido y examinado en los últimos años a más 300 futbolistas y deportistas de primer nivel (Xabi Alonso Raúl González, Metzelder, Borja Valero, Forlín, Javi Márquez, Colotto…). En los últimos 12 meses han realizado más de 1.100 intervenciones quirúrgicas, un alto número de ellas a deportistas aficionados.

Ripoll y De Prado gains FIFA Accreditation of ExcellenceThe Fedération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has granted the title of Excellence to the ‘Servicio de Traumatología y Cirugía Ortopédica  Ripoll y De Prado’ with headquarters in Southeast of Spain and Madrid. This award makes them one of FIFA Medical Centres of Excellence, of which there are only 22 in the whole world, twelve of them in Europe. This approval is the world’s highest recognition a medical institution can receive. FIFA declares its compromise towards the health of the players regarding the prevention and improvement of injury treatments.
